  • Proof of Income: At least $2,500 USD from a source outside of Costa Rica. This income must be maintained for at least two years, which can be demonstrated by depositing a total of $60,000 USD in a Costa Rican bank or providing documentation of a pension or annuity.
  • Valid Passport;
  • Criminal Background Check – this document should be no older than six months.
  • Proof of Registration with Costa Rican Consulate;
